Walt's is the best! I've been going there since Walt was there--over 30 years now. Paul Dice, who runs the place, is one of the smartest mechanics and one of the best guys around.

My old mechanic went out of business, so I was looking for someone to fill the void in the approximate vicinity. Walt's had a high rating on Yelp so I took a chance. The first time I came in, I didn't figure I'd get serviced right away but they did make an appointment for the following morning (it was for the "Check Engine" light, so my car was driveable). They fixed the problem, the price was reasonable (what I expected), and the car was ready the same day. Communication was great throughout the process. Would definitely return.

Amazing Experience !!! Paul and his team are extremely knowledgeable and precise with great attention to detail. The wait room has free wifi and coffee 😉. Very clean up to date shop. I recommend to anyone in the South Bay looking for an honest quality work on your vehicle. 5 stars !

My check-engine light came on so I searched for a shop close enough to walk to. Walt's popped up. I left my car at the end of the day so they could check it out the following day. They called and said the catalytic converter needed to be replaced, which I already knew and had told them. The code had been cleared before, but I guess it comes on again. BUT what they noticed when driving my car was a noise coming from one of the wheels. I had been hearing something but thought it was caused by the tires wearing unevenly. Nope. Turns out one of the bearings was worn out causing the noise and would eventually cause the wheel to come off. Oh my! They replaced the wheel bearing quickly and now my car drives quietly. I had no idea and what a difference! I'm so glad I brought it to Walt's and for them thoroughly checking out the car. I've recently brought that car to Firestone and it had that noise, but they didn't figure it out. You can bet I'm taking my car to Walt's in the future. Paul was very helpful and explained everything. He even asked the mechanic to bring the worn part over to show me. Love this place!
