I got a fantastic discount on my brake oil change (one third of what the Dealership was asking!) As I waited I noticed and was very impressed with the Owner’s unusually polite manner with customers and the whole staff of Mechanics—especially the front desk person who works with him like a well-oiled machine to get things done. It’s a great culture there.

These guys are very honest and professional. I praise them highly.

I've got a long story to tell you. I received a coupon for free oil change and inspection. Their mechanic performed the promised oil change, for free. I expected to see a list of unnecessary service recommendation that some dishonest auto shops would recommend. To my surprise, they told me everything looks good and no service is necessary. So my impression is that these guys are very honest. After the oil change, on the way home, I started hearing weird noise from the engine that I've never heard before. Every time I rev over 3000 rpm, the engine oil warning light would lit on. I noticed the oil started leaking from the engine to the driveway. I knew something wasn't right. I called them right away. Unfortunately, it was a Saturday evening, and they don't open on Sundays. I waited till Monday to tell them what happened. They paid for the tow truck to move my car to their auto shop. After inspection, they informed me that the oil filter housing O-ring seal failed, causing the oil to leak all over my engine bay. They said it was a manufacturer defect. They spent Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning cleaning my engine bay to get rid of any residual oil. They told me the next oil change will be on the house as well. Despite of this unfortunate incident that made me car-less for 3 days, I think they handled this issue with the utmost sincerity and professionalism. After all, they didn't make a penny for 2 oil changes (1 in the future) and a towing service. My car is back to normal with brand new oil and filter. For that, I thank them.

Hector M. did a very good job with the oil leaking into valves repair done recently and with the Ignition Switch electrical replacement done several months ago. Paul, as usual, always gets good and correct parts. I've been dealing with Paul for over 24 years, since Walt's 2.0 when Rick K. bought the shop from the original owner Walt N. I have lived near Orange County for quite a while now and continue to use Walt's Auto Service.

Walt’s is the first place I would recommend if someone feels like they need a second opinion. The honestly and quality is at the highest level. I won’t take my cars anywhere else.

I had a flat tire and while trying to remove the tire I twisted off a lug bolt. I called Paul at Walt's Auto to see if they could fit me in that day? Paul said sure. I also ask Paul if they could repair my tire also Paul said they currently weren't doing that kind of repair but not to worry he would see that it got taken care of. While the stud was being replaced they checked serpentine belts and found cracks and recommended they be changed. I had been wanting to get the belts changed because those are the original belts and the car has 67,600 miles on it so it was time I had just forgot to get it done so I was glad the mechanic caught that before it became a big problem later. I got my car back the same day and by the way was not charged for repairing the flat. Thanks Sergio, Paul and the crew. God bless your business. Dale
