Best experience I ever had for auto repairs. Being an older female, they did not try to sell me anything that was not needed. They did my repairs fast and everyone was very friendly. Paul the manager knows his business and is very professional.

I have gone here twice and this shop is by far the best! Quick, affordable, no scams and great customer service. Also great that they have a shuttle to drive you to and from the shop if you live nearby. Will be coming back for my car needs.

I’ve been going to Walt’s for 30 years - always reliable, always honest. They gave me a ride to work when I dropped off my car this week and offered to pick me up and drive me back when it was ready. I am confident that my cars are in good hands with the staff at Walt’s!

I can't even remember when I started going to Walt's. 98' maybe. {Paul wasn't the owner yet. From that point on, I have never gone anywhere else. When Paul took over I found that he has the same work ethic, honesty, and love for his customers, if not more. Are auto repairs done quickly and honestly and good for your budget? Absolutely, but they are also done right. Paul and the other mechanics never tell you to have something done that you don't need. Yet, he will honestly tell you how long you are probably able to go before you push the problem too far. In my case, it was always What it was, what it cost, and which problem should be taken care of first. I have always trusted Paul and his great crew of guys. Another thing is I always enjoyed my talks with Paul and Kay. Unfortunately, Kay passed away and, dang I sure miss seeing her. I loved my conversations in person and on the phone. my car is in good condition to move to Kern Valley thanks to Paul and the great guys working there. My 2007 Kia Sorento is going to miss Walt's Auto and everyone there. I HIGHLY recommend Walt's. I wish they could be in Kernville, CA too. Saying later not goodbye. Now take your Auto to WALT'S everyone.

Excellent service. I had an appointment but could not wait for the service to be completed. When i called to explain Paul said he would have someone drive me back home. I was so grateful for that. Walt's is the best! I've been going there since Walt was there--over 30 years now. Paul Dice, who runs the place, is one of the smartest mechanics and one of the best guys around.

My old mechanic went out of business, so I was looking for someone to fill the void in the approximate vicinity. Walt's had a high rating on Yelp so I took a chance. The first time I came in, I didn't figure I'd get serviced right away but they did make an appointment for the following morning (it was for the "Check Engine" light, so my car was driveable). They fixed the problem, the price was reasonable (what I expected), and the car was ready the same day. Communication was great throughout the process. Would definitely return.
