This an honest inspection...they can invent parts to be done...bcause I don't know about cars

When Walt owned this, it was a fantastic place. After Walt left for back east, I had several problems including a salesman who sold me something so absurd I couldn't believe it was being offered by Walt's a place I used to respect. This deceptive sales pitch was the last time I went to this place. For the record, they sold me a additive for $100 that the salesman told me would give my car better power and gas mileage which it did - for one tank of gas. Who would pay for this for one tank of gas? Hey Walt's send me $100 and I'll delete this HONEST review. So sad that Walt left.

There's a good reason this small independent shop has been around so long. Paul was professional, prompt and terrific to work with every step of the way. I highly recommend this place. In fact, a friend of mine has a history dating back to this company for 30 years--even before Walt called it Walt's! Special tip: these guys are open every other Saturday, so there's a good chance you won't have to miss work to take care of your car. Have been coming here for a bit. The staff is REALLY nice but I always have to wait at least two hours - even if just an oil change. If you have the time to spare or have an issue, worth it! They are nice, friendly, helpful. But if you just want an oil change or quick look, maybe not the spot for you. Example: right now I have been waiting on an oil change and minor check for 2 hours and 12 minutes.

My wife's Armada emptied trans fluid from a hose on the fwy she called AAA they recommended Walts in Torrance. We Spoke to Kay she said she would make sure the Armada was locked up for the weekend. Paul called monday said it was the hose and recommended to change both hoses so we agreed because of his experience and honesty. Kay took our payment over the phone and we were able to pick up the the Armada after hrs. At our own convenience. We have not met Kay or Paul face to face but I will tell You "that is a Honest 5 Star experience from start to finish. " Thanks Kay & Paul!!!
