Ambassador:
Are you looking for a part time job (20 hours per month)? Or do you know anyone looking to earn a few dollars while having breakfast or lunch and talking to people?
Walt’s Auto Service is looking to hire an Ambassador. This position is essential for our marketing efforts and advertising campaigns. This opportunity would be specially fit for a retiree individual who likes to talk and is outgoing. The main purpose for this job is to represent Walt’s Auto Service in the community. The job consists of the following:
- 20 to 25 hours per month.
- Represent Walt’s Auto Service at the Chamber of Commerce once or twice a month for their regular breakfast or lunch meetings. All expenses for meals will be covered by Walt’s. This may take about a total of two hours each event.
- Twice per month participate at the Torrance Farmer’s Market with a table top exhibit distributing brochures and introducing Walt’s to the general public. The time will be from 7am to 1pm on one Tuesday and on the firts Saturday of the month.
- On the first Saturday of the month for a total of two hours cooking hot dogs and burgers at Walt’s from 11am to 1pm
- Other possible and potential events within the city in places such as lion’s club, Rotary International, etc.
- In additional to the $20.00 per hour pay, there will be perks such as all repairs for the ambassador’s vehicle will be done at 50% from regular price. This means that it will be done at below cost.
- A Walt’s polo shirt (or two) will be provided as well as business cards and a Walt’s cap.

Part-Time Ambassador.
Are you looking for a part-time job, about 20 hours per month? Or do you know someone who wants to earn a few dollars while having breakfast or lunch and networking with people?
This position is essential for our marketing efforts and advertising campaigns. And is an ideal opportunity for a retired individual who likes to talk and has an outgoing personality. The primary purpose of this position is to represent Walt’s Auto Service in the community.
The job consists of the following:
- 20 to 25 hours of networking per month.
- Represent Walt’s Auto Service at the Chamber of Commerce once or other events within the city at places such as Lion’s club, Rotary International, and more.
- Twice a month for their regular breakfast or lunch meetings. All expenses for meals will be covered by Walt’s. Each event takes about a total of two hours.
- Twice monthly, join the Torrance Farmer’s Market with a tabletop exhibit distributing brochures and introducing Walt’s to the general public. From 7 am to 1 pm on one Tuesday and on the first Saturday of the month.
- On the first Saturday of the month for cooking hot dogs and burgers at Walt’s from 11 am to 1 pm.

In addition to $20.00 per hour, perks such as repairs for your vehicle will be 50% of the regular price; this means your auto repair services will be performed below our cost.
